Diet day one!

We had our 20 week scan yesterday and found out we are having a baby girl! I really didn't mind either way, but it's lovely to know now. She was absolutely crazy for the whole 45 minute scan, constantly moving and kicking, and managing to turn a full 180 degrees (how can I not feel that?!). The Dr became quite annoyed with her towards the end of the examination as he had important stuff to look at to rule out all manner of potential problems, and she made his job very hard, little tinker (takes after Mark, for sure). The Dr told me I'd put on a little too much weight and to be a bit more careful, so I resolved to have no more biscuits at work, and made a lovely chicken and pomegranate salad for lunch today.. and then my Father in law popped into the office following a trip to Beirut, with this huge box of sweets for me... oh well, diet starts on Monday, as they say!
