It was blowing a hoolie when we had our lunchtime walk today. Lots of white horses on the loch. Charlie caught sight of a flock of young oystercatchers sheltering in a corner of the sea wall and would have had some sport with them but was very good and obeyed when told to leave then alone. After we got home, both looking windswept and interesting , the rain started just as forecast. Wind strengthening too. Batten down the hatches!
