Just Call Me a Pansy!

I love pansies! They are such happy little flowers with their smiley faces and vibrant colors.
But, I also admire their ability to survive thru the cold Missouri winters. If I plant them in September they will be full of blooms in March. They have a natural anti-freeze in them for protection.
For some reason, people use the name 'pansy' to refer to someone who is weak.
That is so far from the truth. A 'pansy really is someone who is strong enough to stand up to the elements. So, call me a 'Pansy' anytime you like!
