MAC is Fife’s mobile museum and gallery.

Currently it is showing memorabilia and stories relating to Fife families and soldiers during the First World War.
My nephew David and I caught up with it in Lochgelly this afternoon on our way to an Art Exhibition in the Centre.
We spoke with a family from Glenrothes who had connections with Sunderland and
who, as we did, found the displays very moving.
Today we chat and smile but are aware that the futility of War has taken its toll and still does.
