Steps to Somewhere

Shopping this morning for Mum. I decided to see if I could get rechargeable batteries for the house-phones, they're almost the same price as half a new set of phones!

Spent rest of day with Mum. JW and CW dropped in about lunch time for tea and chat and catch-up on news. I stayed to make dinner with Mum. Now home knackerooed.

The Blip is the high-steps or long-steps near Mum's which weren't there when I was a kid, but useful now as a shortcut upto bus-stop home, just reached it when LRT 21 came yippee. Also use the high-steps when wet as the low-steps has muddy grass to cross to get to them. Both sets of steps are dark and isolated and feel a speed to get up them onto the road.
