Eves Pudding

Rather overestimated the ingredients tonight for our desert.
It was meant to be a quick dinner of soup and pudding but entailed a trip to the local shop for the eggs we thought we had, but didn't, splitting the mixture into two and a much longer cooking time than we anticipated.
Suffice to say we had our soup a very long time before what we used to call 'afters' when I was a kid - it was worth waiting for though and we've one for the freezer.
