Helen's Trust - Moonlight Walk

A truly wonderful early evening charity moonlight walk (no moon visible by the way) courtesy of Helen's Trust along the Monsal trail between Bakewell and Thornbridge Hall.
In the past I'd never got involved with charities but during the past couple of years I've got on board with supporting our local charity Helen's Trust who make it possible for local people with terminal illness to end their years at home.
It's a charity that gets no government funding and is run on a very lean scale with its volunteers playing a huge part in its ongoing success and I get such a great feeling of of doing and accomplishing something of value by helping them.
Here's the Youlgreave Brownies and their torches who seem to be delighted to meet Bakie Bear the much loved mascot of the trust.
