Today's the day ......................... to rehearse

We had a final rehearsal tonight in Crosscrake Church for a performance that we will be staging tomorrow night - part of the week-long commemoration in this area of the 100th anniversary of the start of WW1.

We'll be singing Philip Ledger's Requiem - a thanksgiving for life . There will also be readings of letters and poems sent back from the front by local people who had enlisted to fight - together with pictures and photographs from the same time. I know it's going to be moving because we did a similar performance earlier in the year.

This is the trumpeter who will play the Last Post .....................
