En route

In Perth tonight for the start tomorrow of the annual SNP Conference which is going to be the biggest ever. Party membership has quadrupled since the referendum and everybody seems to want to be here to thank Alex for all he has done and to welcome Nicola as the new leader.

I got a lift from Edinburgh this evening and the various lights coming over the Forth Bridge were fascinating, not least those from the towers for the new crossing, rapidly rising from the river.
