Monty Pylon's Flying Circus

Not a popular feature on our landscape, we nevertheless rely on the power they carry. They can be an interesting structure to photograph especially if you can get an unusual angle on one.

I gave this a bit of the vintage 'Ally Pally' look.

Pylon spotters engage in the hobby of electricity pylon number collecting. They can usually be seen walking under pylons with a pen, notebook, binoculars, and wearing an anorak.

I guess they also like the thrill of disobeying the very visually descriptive "danger of death" signs.
