Flying Boat.

We had a meeting of the writing group today, I managed to arrive at the wrong time; fortunately I was half an hour early, late would have been even more embarrassing. Our host is rather creative and this papier-mâché bird/boat demanded my attention; it is a work in progress, part of a phantasmagorical flying circus inspired by a book. Later on, at the Camera Club, questions were raised about the validity of photographing other people's art; my attitude is that it's fine if it is documentation but, in general, I wouldn't present it in a competition. I find a large proportion of my photography is for recording stuff although I'm always looking for (but never finding) the killer shot.
