A Quiet Beautiful Moment

Late in the afternoon Moira and I took a walk to our neighborhood pond. It is a beautiful place where we enjoy seeing lots of wildlife. I was really hoping to see the Otters playing and Moira brought a bag of bread in hopes of feeding some ducks. Even though we didn't see any wildlife, we did enjoyed the beauty of the pond. It was a peaceful time just listening to the sounds of the water fountain and the wind in the trees. We stayed until Moira threw the whole bag of bread pieces into the water. Still hoping the ducks would come. The turtles did enjoy their dinner of bread. " Maybe tomorrow they will come" Moira said, as she slid her little hand in mine and we headed home.
