Loch Ardinning

Went with Her Majesty and Goretex for a Sunday walk to a local loch. I have driven past this place for ever but never stopped to see what's there.
What a hidden gem!
Double pleasure, Her Majesty got to swim again - the lochs have been frozen since before Christmas - so we get to enjoy 'parfum de chien mouillé'.
The smell was added to. since in our desire to avoid walking along the road side, we cut trough a boggy bit of woodland - sorry, very boggy bit of woodland. Bogs seem to unlock some primitive instinct in the water loving dog leading to an apoplexy of excitement. Add 'odure de marais' - but we had fun!
