Evening on Jervis Bay

Following the workshop I flew back to Canberra and was picked up from the airport by my partner. We are spending a long weekend (Monday is Canberra Day) holidaying at Callala Beach on Jervis Bay. Jervis Bay is a large inlet on the New South Wales south coast, about 2.5-3 hours south of Sydney. My sister has a long term rent of a beach house, situated right on the beach front about 50 metres from the water and we're staying with 2 other couples who we've known for years. We arrived just in time to see the last of the evening and the rather stormy clouds over Jervis Bay - it had been raining quite hard all day Friday and this photo captures the mood of the last light of day.
