The Returned

One day they were there ~ the next they were gone.

It's a mystery as to what has reduced the numbers of Rainbow Lorikeets in our area recently. Even beside the beach, where their collective afternoon chorus was once a deafening sound, their song has been dimmer recently.

During the past week though, they returned, first just two of them, now there are four regulars in the garden. Some look bedraggled ~ most, including this one, healthy and beautiful.
