Sunset from the aeroplane window ...

... somewhere between Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu.

Today we travelled. Our first experience with Air Asia which was great from Ho Chi Minh to Kuala Lumpur and then from there to Kathmandu with a four hour stopover ... seamless.

We arrived late in Kathmandu and after negotiating a taxi fare we had our first experience of Nepali roads. Interesting. We have never experienced pot holes quite so large and boy is it dusty here. Felt a bit sorry for the cab driver as he didn't know where our homestay was so had to ring and one of the boys had to come and meet us. We got there eventually and it was pretty much straight to bed. Hello Nepal!
