Sunlight on leaves

The sun was shining while I was out and about this morning, so I stopped for a quick circuit of the park. Worth a look in large.

Last night we had thunder and lightning. And rain. Much rain.. A friend commented on Facebook that she thought it was the Apocalypse! I complimented her on her spelling, but pointed out that, if she hadn't have known how to spell 'apocalypse', it wouldn't have been the end of the world ...

I used up the last of the mincemeat in a wholewheat mincemeat cake. The recipe says that it keeps well for several weeks.
No, it really doesn't. Not in this house.
