Snow Girl
Yesterday I was depressed about the snow, but today we ventured out and I remembered: 20˚ is not THAT cold. I mean, when you have lived through a winter like last year, you realize you can endure much more than you ever thought.
This morning while I shoveled, Mia went sledding down our hill. Later at preschool, she went on a hike and found large rocks covered in a shell of ice. She peeled the ice off one and carried it all the way back to the preschool. They propped it on the ledge outside the window. It looks like a wing or a glove. It will be fun for the kids to check on throughout the season.
