Late afternoon sun

... and very welcome it was too, especially after the heavy rain we had earlier. I had been glad I didn't have any commitments for the day, but felt obliged to venture out for some fresh air when the sun appeared.

I used my phone to take this shot, admittedly on a 'Fall Colour' setting, but the colours were so bright I've had to tone it down a little. The 'burnt orange' effect was a bit overdone, I think.

Friday already! Children in Need already! Who would've thunk it's been a whole year since the last one?
