A layered sky

Well I didn't expect the day to turn out so beautiful after the torrential rain all morning. I took this as I trotted up to the post box earlier.
What I should have today is a portrait of Ronnie Corbett. He was in the local shop earlier when I popped out to get some lunch. I wasn't feeling confident enough to ask him if I could take his photo and now I'm annoyed with myself for being such a wimp. I did get a lovely shot of the back of his head..... looks like stir fry is on the menu in the Corbett house tonight, that's if he could reach up to the shelf of course. He really is tiny. I felt like a great towering giant standing behind him.
