A firm favourite

I phoned this morning to check the number of participants and was told there would be 30. We've been given permission to provide everyone with lunch so I phoned KFC to pre-order streetwise 2 x 30 and arrived on time with my two shopping bags: the staff laughed at me and handed over a huge cardboard box of chicken meals which cost R807. I couldn't help thinking about a government ministers who spent nearly R12 000 of tax-payers money in a single month at Kentucky Fried Chicken. What could she possibly have bought for that amount? In this country one can never go wrong with chicken and chips.
