Booksigning at Stockmann's

Today we were invited to Stcokmann's, the oldest department store in Tampere - with the first escalator in town, too, back then. The place had been renovated and they clebrated this with buffet tables and wine stations - very nice indeed!

There were some artists there, too, musicians and writers, Here former icehockey coach, Mr Tamminen signing his autobiohgraphy surrounded by fans. At the back in the spotlight you can see Sinikka Nopola, a real writer, who does not seem to attract a crowd...

After a few glasses of wine and several helpings at the table we walked back home to watch Finland play football against Hungary - desperately trying to qualify for the European Championships.
