Pampered Pooches

It was the wife's day off and it was her choice to take the son's dogs out for a walk. It's my mums 74th birthday tomorrow so, as I needed to drop in a card and flowers, after picking up the dogs we headed for Llantwit Major, near Cardiff.

After a splash around in the sea we went for a 3 mile circular walk along the cliff top, crossing and along the opposite ridge. They love darting into foliage, streams and chasing birds. On getting back to the beach they couldn't wait to get back in the sea and play with the numerous other dogs there.

The blip photo shows them being towelled and dried before we headed for the cafe there for a cuppa. Pampered pooches, indeed. After dropping off the pressie, it was quite a trek back home for them, and they fell asleep for a bit. It's a hard life being a dog!
