New-Year's gift

Also known as winter aconite. I don't think much of the name New-Year's gift 'cause as far as I'm concerned New Year is some time ago now. Still I was very surprised to see the little bulbs in my frontyard. It looks like Spring has found my garden too... If you look closely you can see one of the bulbs still in the ground, guess it will be standing up, proud and yellow, by tomorrow!
