Tower

A long weekend of birthday celebrations! Was at work yesterday, but then up to London for a very posh meal at the fabulous Benares - something ticked off the bucket list!

This was followed by a tourist day in London, visiting the Tower of London which I have never been into before, despite living within easy access of London all my life. The poppies are being dismantled, but there are still quite a few there. I loved this view of the archway, with the Shard peeking through.

The evening was a lovely cheese and wine get-together with some friends. And there are still two more days of birthday celebrations to go! Happy times.
