Interstellar Overdrive

I thought it would be a nice idea to go to the pictures this evening. It would make a change, I thought.

I was keen to see the latest scifi blockbuster and so we met in Puerto Banus after school, where the English language version was playing.

The movie was nearly three hours long and there were all of eight people in the entire cinema.

Some good parts, a little interesting physics and a great deal of complete twaddle.

And, as usual, a promising storyline was ruined by overdoses of American sentimentality.

Never mind. Jacqui was quickly appeased by the promise of a curry at Khans. I hadn't been there for years. And no wonder.

The food was alright to nice, but nothing near as spectacular as the bill.

So 100 euros lighter, we parted company to collect our cars from their respective car parks. Jacqui's cost 7 euros.

Mine was 13! And they are next door to each other.

I will be glad to get into bed. Everything seemed to be in overdrive tonight!
