Reflections

Have just come home from a lovely trip today.

We drove to Callander and then along the road to Loch Venacher, and had coffee at the Loch Venachar Cafe, which has the most wonderful views. They were closing shortly for a private function. They do quite a lot of small weddings, can only cater for about 100, but it must be lovely to have a reception there.

Then on to Loch Achray, and took some pictures across the loch; the view across the loch towards the Trossachs Kirk is one of my favourite views, and we were lucky enough to get reflections today. We were amazed at the amount of autumn colour still to be seen.

We then had a break and a walk at Aberfoyle, and a wee walk around the touristy shops, then headed to Thornhill where we had a terrific meal at the Lion and Unicorn, their food is great.

Home to a frozen house as I forgot to set the timer. ach well, it will soon heat up!
