Näsinneula Tower
The observation tower and restaurant about half an hour before sunset today.
Näsinneula is the most visible landmark of Tampere. The name of the tower translates literally as 'Näsi needle', because it stands by the vast body of Lake Näsijärvi. The tower was constructed in the early 70s, and designed by a local architect, Pekka Ilveskoski.
