Gordon Stevenson's Violins (2014.319)

This is the interior of Gordon Stevenson's Violin shop in the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh. A tiny shop whose stock reminded Emma and I of Ollivander's, Stevenson's has been in business for decades.

He repaired Emma's cello overnight, and also gave it a bit of a general overhaul, keen that we should not leave the shop with the instrument suboptimal.

Great service, and an interesting proprietor, who was happy for me to take some photos of the inside of his premises.
