A cool start this morning. Got everything fed then a quick run down to Macmerry to get a roll pin to repair the forward/reverse lever on wee brothers John Deere.
Then hauled the last 3 loads of blackie hoggs down the road for the winter. Little Miss off to another birthday party in the big smoke. She has a better social life than me anyway !
This tree blew down about 10 years ago.Some of it has been cut up for fire wood but its down next to the burn and hard to get at. The frost was still hiding on the North facing side.Other bits have started to grow again.
Nearly forgot about yesterdays blip. Yes,you were right Croft16, it is used to make ropes. Not used much now as most loads are tied using ratchet straps these days. Not many folk know how to tie a kinch anymore either.
