This was the day of the train

Spent the afternoon in a church hall watching the boys drive trains. A bunch of model railway enthusiasts set up eight loop tracks and run a drop in and have a go afternoon for families. The boys were great at driving the model trains sensibly. D came home fired up to get their wooden trains out again. So a change from lego!

Started the day with taking C for a run in the woods while D was having a swimming lesson. We had a really heavy frost so fun was had looking at spiders webs. Oh and we spotted a heron and got to watch a dipper. We did do some running to, promise!
