Skyline above Torduff

I've just finished planting 250 crocus bulbs (over a few days). I'm hoping the bees will enjoy these next spring. However, today I found a batch had been dug up (and probably eaten by one of the squirrels from the wood). Tomorrow I'm planning on covering the area where I planted these with wood chip in the hope that the smell of the wood will distract the squirrels. Ho hum!

When my hands became too cold to carry on gardening, I went for a lovely twilight run in the Pentlands. Here's a view from the wood above Torduff Reservoir before it got completely dark.
