Poison!

Had to head up to the allotment today for a long overdue dumping of the kitchen compost. There were a few folk working away, digging in manure and compost before the frost arrives, but I just took a wee wander through the plots and came across these. They're asparagus berries and I'd never seen them before. Seems that they are seriously poisonous so maybe there's someone out there collecting them ....

It was a shame that Scotland came up short against the All Blacks just now but the Jambos came through again and even increased their lead at the top. Great stuff!
