Simple pleasures.

Some of my blips are less about photography and more about Show and Tell, this is one of them. After humming randomly for a couple days (a sure sign that something isn't quite right) the girl was decidedly under the weather today. She did however manage a subdued trip to the local sci-fi/comic shop before returning back under her quilt with the emergency fairy and a few new comics. I did talk her into a quick (new) game of Loonacy, which was my choice from the excursion. I think it's a bit light on strategy for her alarmingly sophisticated six-year old tastes, but it's fun nevertheless. I'd love to get her going on Fluxx proper, as she's a bit of a stickler for rules and I think she'd enjoy the way they keep changing in Fluxx.

The bottle opener is simply to demonstrate the happy moment when I successfully uncorked a weekend bottle. We used to have an absolutely fool-proof, never-fail cork-screw. It failed. Now I take my chances with this one or wait for the Mister to get home.
