#1's Big Announcement

It's just like the buses - you wait for ages and then two come along at once. Well, ten weeks and five days apart to be precise. My stress levels and bank balance aren't coping. Someone suggested they have a double "do", but no, they'll each tie the knot in their own way. I am trying to remain calm. Thrilled of course.

#1 has become engaged to the lovely S from Houston, Texas. It looks like the wedding will be here in Scotland. They are already checking out reception venues in the East.

So that's four engagements in the wider family over the last few weeks ... whose next?
