Old Man of Marrakech
This morning we woke to clouds and a light drizzle. After breakfast at our riad, we packed our cases and left them in reception before taking our last stroll in the streets of Marrakech. I have really enjoyed the challenge of taking street photographs of the locals without them noticing me. From the action of the busy streets, to artisans and street vendors it is a jungle out there. This old man had stopped to sit and eat a banana and I could not resist getting some shots of him.
We did some last minute shopping and spent some time at Dar Si Said before making our way back to the riad. We shared a taxi to the airport with a couple from Madrid and got there about 3.45pm. After checking in and changing our money back to sterling, it took about an hour and three quarters to get through customs before catching our flight back to Glasgow. So no time for duty free shopping at the airport.
We have seen some amazing sights, tasted some wonderful food and met some lovely people on our Marrakech Express.
It is late, so I will add some more images to my blip folio tomorrow.
