The Road Less Travelled

A walk into the woods today to enjoy the snowy wilderness and to test out the new snow boots. They get an A+! Met only one other person, who happened to be Mark out for a spot of afternoon bow hunting. I walked as far as the floating bog, which is pretty much frozen now of course, and I was pretty tired when I got back - didn't much feel like more exercise, but I strapped the skis on nevertheless (because I'd promised) and went for a sunset ski with Mr. L. across the golf course. Glad I did - it's much nicer now that we've tracked it and we had a very pleasant hour or so with no faceplants this time.
