Anchors Away

We have a still not quite well wee boy - this virus is giving hm a really hard time. We spent all day yesterday in the house baring a quick trip to the park which we ended early.

Everyone - including B - was going stir crazy, so we decided that we would head into the city for a little while. Grumpy and Grandma had not seen the Jeremiah O'Brian or the USS Pampanito so that was our first point to call. B had no interest in the submarine so we left Grumpy there and headed to the Jeremiah O'Brian - a Merchant Navy ship who was at Dunkirk. B was hugely excited so we headed up on board for a good explore. B was massively interested in the big diesel engines. We stuck to the main decks (other than the engine room) before heading off to meet Grumpy.
