Lemon Lime

A couple of months ago I bought four new roses. They are all the same and their name is Lemon Lime. They are a new variety and I have been waiting for the buds to finally open. Today the buds on the bush that receives the most sunshine finally started opening. As you can see, the colour is lemon lime, as the name describes and they have a subtle, citrus fragrance. I am delighted with them as they are planted in a border in front of quite a bright green hedge and the rose blooms look wonderful in front of the green background.
Fortunately, they are in quite a sheltered spot as it has been extremely windy and most of the other roses are getting quite blown about.
We went to a movie this afternoon called My Old Lady which had Maggie Smith in it and was set in the Marais district in Paris. It was most enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it.
