yes..
..another lunch!
This time with very old friends visiting Perth for a few days. We go back almost 40 years to when we first met in Namibia.
A vineyard lunch at Brookside Vineyard (one of the Perth Hills best kept secrets) with J and B. B and I started off with seared scallops, morcilla and salmorejo.
Amazing combination of flavours and just as well B asked what morcilla was after we devoured a trio of these beauties.
BLACK PUDDING!!..something she said she would have been reluctant to try.
Yummmmm
Oh and salmorejo is a puree of tomatoes, bread, oil, garlic and vinegar... not quite as scary!
