Baby Banksia Flower

This is the very beginning of a banksia flower which is about 3cm high at the moment and will end up around 15cm fully grown. It looks so fragile and tender and the tendrils around the flower remind me of little baby birds or something.

After a completely hectic week at work this has been a really lazy Sunday! Only the most basic chores were done in the name of cleanliness and clean clothes to wear! The rest of the time I lazed and dozed and blipped and casually walked the dog :)) Roll on the Xmas holidays!!!
