Saplings

A few gleams of light in between rainstorms today. From our back lane we can see across to our neighbour's little tree nursery where his saplings are producing some fine colour now. I think these are types of maple or liquidambar, but I'm afraid I don't always remember when he tells me their French names...

At any rate, they will be very striking in years to come!
