Bottom of lake Iriki

The day of a long drive back to Marrakesh. The first hours are still in 4-wheel country and today's blip is from the bottom of Lake Iriki (here in large). It is as good as always dry, only after heavy rainfalls some water will stay for a short while. The first village is then Foum Z'Guit, being an outpost towards the desert and the Algerian frontier to the south. No wonder that there is a military control point there to check whatever traffic, although we were told that the frontier to Algeria is 'fully' closed.

We stopped in the village for drinks & watching the street life. A bit later a short stop for our car (cleaning the air filter after the desert) and then back towards Marrakesh.
