Walk along the beach

Went to see one of my oldest friends today. She only loves an hour away but we always seem to busy to meet.
We stopped making busy excuses and arranged a meet up for today.
It was lovely, kids chatting, husbands deep I. Conversation and Ruth and I going on like we had never been apart.

Why do we let life's rubbish get in the way of spending time with the people we most want to be with.
