A canopy

of pine trees. They create bumps in the road but they are so beautiful. I hope I've caught the atmosphere.

Yesterday I found a Robin in the house. I don't know how long he'd been there but he was quite frightened as we went to and fro and wouldn't be enticed to go through the open doors and windows.
In the end, probably exhausted, he fell behind a pile of books and I was able to pull him out, very gently.
I took him outside and held him over and orange tree. As I opened my hands, his gaze reminded me of Alex as a baby, when he woke up after an afternoon sleep, with a look on his face that seemed to say, "where am I and who are you". Then he turned over nad flew away!
