Another view from the 42nd floor

Was back in the Radisson Royal this morning (ugh!).

I guess the pay off to such an early start is a view like this... taken from the same side of the building, but looking south-west towards the sea - if you get what I mean.

The most prominent building is the Burj Al Arab hotel - some 25kms as the crow flies from where I am taking this picture. The orange-ish building on the right is the Atlantis Hotel on the Palm. In the foreground is Satwa and Jumeirah.

The day seemed to pass at work... and came home to find G already here... her student had er forgotten about his lesson and gone off to see a friend! There you go. At least it's Sunday done and dusted.
