I spent a nice day in downtown Chicago with my boyfriend. At one point, we visited the Art Institute Museum, and I just had to find and admire my favorite painting.

Pictured above, it's called The Church of Santa Maria della Salute and it was painted in 1740 by Michele Marieschi. When I first saw this painting, I instantly fell in love with it. It's so crisp and detailed. This is what art is supposed to be like.
