Changing Places

Lots of change in Peckham. It feels as if it could be slowly morphing into a Brick Lane-Brixton Market type of area.

It's certainly getting more street art, more beards, more artisan bakers, indi-coffee-wagons, pop-up crowd-funded art galleries and vinyl stores.

I remember when it was all Woolworths, KFC, pound shops, Ghanaian fly whisks, fish on the pavement and cows feet.

Edit: Thanks to AlfeeTee, Shaaamie and Clarebeme who identified the artist as Phlegm. For anyone else interested, this is on the side of the Bussey Building (a 120 year old warehouse and former cricket bat factory) off Rye Lane, Peckham SE15.
