Cakes

I made these scones and mince pies for a little gathering we had this afternoon with our new neighbours. They all came round for a hour or so; it was really nice to meet them all again and do a bit of hoasting in our new house. The kitchen feels like a good party room! It was also really nice to bake in thus morning with the radio on, before Adam and Ella came home. I did get my lie in until 7:30, so wasn't too bad at all. Ella has been unsettled tonight (yet another cold) so I might end up needing to use those banked hours in the night!!
