A Spectacular Day

A great productive and fun day:
- early morning trip to M&S, 15 mins flat, return made, other pressies purchased, and practically no traffic
- washing done, ironed and put away
- trip to optician with Chloe whose eyesight is no worse than previous visits plus she got two fab pairs of new glasses - she might actually wear these since her previous pair were 4 years old and not trendy enough!
- more shopping at Ocean Terminal including an amazing £5.60 pair of Gap jeans for Chloe and our shared Christmas jumper (I get first wear at a dinner with the girls this week)
- an amazing tender beef brisket left to cook slowly for nearly 3 hours so it was meltingly soft and juicy
- finally got to watch The Fault in Our Stars and only used half a box of tissues, followed by a pick-me-up showing of Grease

Think I will sit back and watch the Strictly results show before heading to bed where I think I will fall asleep pretty quickly...
